About Sacred Heart School Sacred Heart School is a parish elementary school (grades K-8) accredited by New England Association of Schools & Colleges since 1998 and has been serving the Diocese of Providence since 1917. Open from 8:30am - 2:30pm, Sacred Heart School has an enrollment of approximately 180 students with an average class size of 20 students.  Our Mission Sacred Heart School is a parish elementary school located in East Providence. We strive to provide a basic Catholic education to a culturally, socially, and academically wide geographic area. We attempt to create an environment which encourages students to reach their potential making use of their God-given talents.  Curriculum Sacred Heart School follows Diocesan & State requirements for Religion, Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies & Physical Education. Additional curriculum includes Music (K-5), Library Classes (K-5), Spanish (7-8), Art(1-8) and Computer Instruction (1-8). Remedial Help is also available. 	Sacred Heart is a Christ Centered School which provides Daily Religious Instruction, Seasonal Liturgical Celebrations and Sacramental Preparation by the Parish Priest.  Activities include Student Yearbook, School Dances, After School Intramurals, Service Projects, Feinstein Program and Field Trips. Tuition & Financial Aid Sacred Heart School has affordable rates with separate rates for both parishioners and non-parishioners alike. Financial Aid is available in the form of Parish Subsidies, a Point System and the Frances Warde Fund.  Transportation Transportation is available for qualifying East Providence residents.
