Kindergarten Dear Parents, Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Melany Shepard and I am the Kindergarten teacher at Sacred Heart School. I have a Masters in Education and have been teaching Kindergarten since 1989. Sacred Heart School is a small Catholic K-8 school that is second to none! We provide a full day Kindergarten program. Children must be 5 years of age on or before September 1st. I have a pamphlet available to share with parents who are interested in a full day program with a strong focus on academics and also for parents who have children in grades 1-7. Financial Aide is available for those who qualify and bus transportation is available to East Providence students. If you know of any parent/guardians who have a child who is eligible for Kindergarten this coming school year, we welcome them for a tour of our school which may be arranged by calling the school or for more information please call 401-434-1080, Monday-Friday, 9am-2pm. Also, there is before and after school care available for a small fee. For information, please call the Sacred Heart Day Care center at 434-2462.
