Hello, 8th Grade is already up and running at top speed. High School is around the corner. Mrs. Cindy Kaplan has been here to discuss her test-taking program to prepare for high school entrance exams. Representatives from Bishop Keough High School, St. Mary Academy, Bay View, Our Lady of Fatima High School, and LaSalle Academy have been here to describe their school and to discuss how they select their students for next years freshman class. Bishop Connolly High School, St. Raphael Academy, and Moses Brown are also scheduled.
	Science Fair is foremost in our minds as well. Topics are being selected and we have attended the meeting for fair coordinators which is held at Bishop Hendricken High School. The Amgen State Fair will be held March 15, 2008 at CCRI, Warwick The top eight students at Sacred Heart School in mid-January will be sent to the state fair. Our yearbook “2007-2008” cover has already been selected faxed to Lifetouch. Many parents attended our fall open house. New report card reporting was discussed. More news to come.
