Grade seven is an exciting year at Sacred Heart School. We do a lot of hard work and have a lot of fun. We learn about Jesus and His role in our lives. We learn about ourselves and each other. This is a big year. We are in junior high school now. In seventh grade we learn about geography because we are global citizens. We are learning to write five paragraph essays, use maps, and to give our opinions about current events. We are reading interesting stories, and we are having book chats to share our thoughts and feelings about what we have read. Life as a seventh grader is exciting! Different year for us because it is the first year we participate in the science fair, learn Spanish and rotate classes. Grade seven is a community with lots of different skills and talents.
	We celebrate each other by honoring each of our birthdays with a special party. We try to improve ourselves and share our gifts with one another to become the fullest version of what God has created us to be. This year is a roller-coaster ride of projects, masses, dances, assignments, field trips, friends, essays, reading, sports events, celebrations, and self discovery. God has made each member of our seventh grade community unique and talented. It is our job to uncover and share these gifts. This is a big year, but we are up to the challenge.
